Hello and thank you for coming by my blog and visiting.

You mentioned that you don't know where to find different backgrounds for blogs. Oh there are lots of Net sites which have free Backgrounds. But... The trouble with lots of them is, they make one's blog load slowwwwly. But I liked The Background Fairy backgrounds.

I'm not using any special Background now, because I've switched to the Blogspot Stretch Minema Template. So I can make my pictures BIG, on my blog. ,-) And there are very few Backgrounds made for the Stretch Minema Template. So now, I simply make my background white [now] or sometimes a soft Pink. Using the regular Blogspot Settings.

Back to The Background Fairy site -- look down on the right side of her blog and find a list of Free Backgrounds and Papers. Look at them. [Warning! There are lots and you'll want to keep looking and looking and looking. -grin-]

She explains how to "do" her Backgrounds. For one thing, you'll have to switch to the Minima Template, from the one you are now using [doing this right in Blog spot Settings]. Not hard. And then, follow her instructions.

And when you switch Templates, you'll have a place at the top [the Header] where you can put any pic you want. Your own photos or get one from the Net. More fun! :-)

If you have any questions, I'd be glad to try to answer them. I had to experiment some, before getting this stuff correctly. But I always say, if an old gal like me can do it, anyone can. :-)

Gentle hugs,
Aunt Amelia

Hia Cath, thanks for visiting my blog. I'm sure the elves will visit your place. I think the secret is to make a mess then hide in the craft room for a few days. :-)

Thanks for the heads up on the giveaway.
