Quilt Reducers.....

These are what has been keeping Hubby busy for the weekend.... he has made quilt reducers in wooden cotton reels.. they are so easy to handle and look so neat... I have decorated one and made a little drawstring bag to keep it in... we sell these plain ready for you to decorate for $15 each.....

Lizzie Anne another new doll

Lizzie Anne is a new idea for me... I have given her fixed fabric hair... the dark blue check is her hair..... I have made her legs so she can also sit nicely on a shelf and her dolly will hang nicely from her hand.

This is Lucinda Mae another new doll

This is Lucinda Mae and she is all dressed in her best outfit..... and has her favourite toy with her..... A friend came to visit for the weekend and brought some chenille for me to play with an old vintage quilt.. I had a lot of fun with it...parisianed some and dyed some and used some white for Gracie....

My new doll Gracie.. Freebie pattern....???

Well I had a very productive weekend. I designed three new dolls. This is my first one her name is Gracie.......

Is this the cutest little face you have ever seen...???? I am thinking of making Gracie a freebie pattern what do you all think...?????

Another doll...June Bug

This is another doll I bought on the weekend... another friend brought a basket of her babies in for me to have a look at.... and little June Bug jumped out and just plain refused to go back in the basket... so I just had to buy her... Lucky for me Margaret is a lovely lady and let me buy her, as Margaret is getting ready for some big shows that we do towards the end of the year and we have to have a lot of stock for these shows... so I am feeling very lucky indeed...

Had a good show....

Here I have a pic of the little button jars I did up for the show.... I sold them all. But they did look cute with their little painted wooden tags on them...

The little painted blocks came up looking lovely with their fabric and I have the two meters of bias in the back of the bag. These were also a popular selling item over the weekend.

This is a close up of the faces of two dolls. I bought the one dressed in Yellow and my friend Maree bought the one in green checks.... they are both quite large make dos... I love them......

Look what Hubby made....

This is the latest thread stand that hubby made. We are doing a quilt show at Boonah this weekend so hopefully it will sell. I have put my spools of bias that I sell on it to show what it would look like full of thread. In front of each thread is a place for a bobbin filled with the same thread to sit. And before you all ask... no I do not have one... LOL And the handles on the two draws are half spools... neat hey..?????

Pin cushion.....

I have been reading Blueberry Lane Designs Blog, and they are asking us to show our favourite most used pincushons.. here are two of mine. The first is a little one I like to have in my work bag so where ever I go I can pop a spool of thread on it and I have my thread and pincushion handy.

This one is another of my favourite styles... this one I have actually made for a friend... but I have been using it while I still have it here..LOL Sorry Sharon.... You can see this one holds your thread, your embroidery scissors and your thimble.
